Troutman PD investigating home invasion



On 06/20/2014 @ 2345Hrs, The Troutman Police Department was dispatched to a Home located @ 220 Klutz St in reference to a Home Invasion/Armed Robbery. According to the victim, he was awakened to a female suspect duct taping his hands and mouth, while a male suspect appeared as a lookout. After she finished duct taping the victim, they demanded money, prescription medication, and the safe while pointing a revolver at the victim. The victim provided a prescription bottle to the suspects. The suspects then fled the home with the medication and victims’ cell phone. The cell phone was located a few hours later about 3 blocks away.

Suspects were described as a white male (6’ 1” approximately) and white female (5’ 3” approximately) wearing dark clothing, dark gloves and a dark type scarf around their faces exposing the eyes only.

The Troutman Police Department is following up on creditable leads and evidence left at the scene. The Troutman Police Department is also requesting the help from the public, if anyone has any information regarding this crime, you are asked to contact the Troutman Police Department @ 704-528-7610 or the Iredell County Crime Stoppers @ 704-662-1340. You could receive a reward for the information if it leads to an arrest.
