Statesville PD: Woman dragged, stuffed in trunk

PRESS RELEASE

Statesville NC: On Saturday, November 7th, 2015, the Statesville Police Department responded to a reported domestic situation in the Park Drive Area of Statesville, NC. When the officers arrived, witnesses stated they heard a domestic disturbance in a yard, and observed the victim being dragged and pushed into the trunk of a vehicle. The vehicle then left the scene.

Members of the Criminal Investigations Division, including Domestic Violence Investigators, responded and after completing their investigation, based on evidence at the scene and witness statements, obtained warrants on Knox for Felonious Restraint and Assault on a Female. Knox was located a short time later and arrested. He is currently being held at the Iredell County Jail and no bond was given as the incident’s relation to domestic violence.
