PRESS RELEASE

On May 5th, 2014, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office received a report in reference to Obtaining Property by False Pretense, which occurred at the Family Dollar Store located on Turnersburg Hwy in Statesville. The Case was assigned to Detective Sergeant S. Maple of the Economic Crime Unit.  At this time, the sheriff’s office needs your help in identifying the suspects in the picture above.  The suspects used a counterfeit credit card to purchase a pre-paid debit card.  Detectives were then able to track the financial transactions of the pre-paid debit card, which led to the card being used at the Murphy’s Gas Station, located in Mocksville, which is where the above picture was taken.  If you have any questions, or any information, please contact the Iredell/Statesville Crime Stoppers at 704-662-1340.  You can also contact Det.
