Sheriff’s Office: Contractors sold stolen jewelry at pawn shop

PRESS RELEASE

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated on May 05, 2015 the victim contacted the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office and filed a report for larceny of stolen jewelry.

The victim advised that she had contractors working inside her residence at the time the items were taken. The investigation was assigned to Detective Sergeant Jeremy Younts and interviews were conducted with the witnesses and the contractors working at the residence. It was found that the items that were missing were sold to Troutman Jewelry and Loan.

The stolen items were recovered and returned to the victim. Warrants were issued for the suspects for Felony Larceny and Obtain Property by a false pretense. Ira Joshua Glenn Freeze received a $10,000.00 secured bond and Selina Marie Mounts received a $2,000.00 secured bond. The investigation is continuing and more charges are expected.
