Equipping, Encouraging, and Connecting Homeschool Families

Winston-Salem, N.C. (May 25, 2021) – On May 27-29, 2021, this weekend, North Carolinians for Home Education (NCHE) will be at the Winston-Salem Benton Convention Center for their annual Thrive! Conference. This conference aims to help parents homeschool their children with joy and provide them with the necessary tools to feel confident in their homeschooling abilities.

“We are thankful we can return and bring all these speakers and people together. It’s been a long time in the waiting and we are ready. Parents from across the state are in contact with us and registrations are showing that people are ready to be attending in person events.” – Matt McDill, President NCHE

The conference includes knowledgeable and inspiring speakers, a vendor hall, an engaging children’s program, fun and educational teen activities, an entertaining talent showcase, an informative college fair, regional gatherings, special group gatherings, and homeschool mentoring.

The conference will be held at the Benton Convention Center where events have resumed with necessary safety protocols being implemented.

COVID-19

The masks and social distancing are no longer mandatory for the conference; they are recommended. Also, the occupancy restrictions are lifted. We are working to provide a socially distanced section of the workshop rooms for those who would feel more comfortable socially distancing.
