PRESS RELEASE

MOORESVILLE, NC: Just after 2 a.m., the Mooresville Police Department responded to Kangaroo Express, 354 S. Main Street, for a reported armed robbery. Responding officers arrived on scene and confirmed the business had been robbed. Officers immediately began searching the surrounding area for the suspect.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 5’6” to 5’7”, 190 to 210 lbs. He was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and a lime green NY Yankees logo fitted hat. The suspect also wore a red bandana and sunglasses to cover his face. He was armed with a small black handgun. The suspect left the business on foot in unknown direction of travel.
