Mooresville PD says drugs were seized from residence where shooting took place



MOORESVILLE, NC – On Monday, May 27, Dexter McLelland, 29, and Josh Terry, 36, both of Statesville, drove to 26 Selma Drive in Mooresville and confronted Jessie Wines, 33, of Mt. Ulla over a personal matter. Upon their arrival, they found Wines accompanied by Deangelo Tomlin, 25, and Rafael Tomlin, 28, both of Mooresville.

An argument ensued. Both Rafael Tomlin and Terry suffered gunshot wounds. McLelland has head lacerations. None of the injuries appear to be life threatening.

Mooresville Police recovered drugs at the Selma Drive residence. The investigation is continuing. No charges have been filed at this time.
