Iredell man accused of robbing Taco Bell in Obama mask



At about 6:29 AM on Sunday February 1st, 2015 the Concord Police Department responded to a call of an Armed Robbery at the Taco Bell located at 2281 Spider Drive. The first suspect was described as a B/M wearing a navy blue sweat suit, an Obama mask and armed with a handgun. The second suspect was wearing camouflage clothing and a black ski mask. The second suspect was armed with a long gun.

During the investigation it was determined that an employee of the restaurant, Darius Dequane Mack Weeks conspired with his cousin and another friend to rob the restaurant. Weeks was arrested for Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon. He was placed into the Cabarrus County Jail under a $10,000.00 bond.

Warrants were obtained on the following subjects for Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.

Andrew Dalton Smallwood W/M DOB 05/29/1997
180 Freeze Crossing
Mooresville, NC 28115

Kaelin Lawson was arrested by Officers of the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office. He was placed in the Iredell County Jail under a $50,000.00 bond.

Andrew Dalton Smallwood has not been located at this time
