Iredell fills new System Medical Director position for EMS

Iredell County is pleased to announce the appointment of Bryan Beaver, M.D. as System Medical Director for Iredell County EMS effective February 1, 2017.

Dr. Beaver attended medical school at the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine from 2008 to 2012. His residency was with Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center where he focused on Emergency Medicine. He also completed a fellowship with Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Emergency Medical Services and Disaster Medicine.

Dr. Beaver has been an instructor at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in emergency medicine. Dr. Beaver also has experience as the Deputy Medical Director for Forsyth County EMS and Assistant Medical Director for Randolph County EMS, and Wake Forest AirCare Critical Care Transport.

Dr. Beaver has shown a passion for working with the emergency services and first responders throughout his career. We are very excited about the potential that his brings to this new position and the positive impacts that he will have on the EMS service.
