Iredell-Statesville Schools will operate on a continuing budget resolution approved by board members this week until state funding is hammered out in Raleigh.
According to Cheif Finance Officer Melissa Wike, two people spoke at a public hearing for the budget – both concerned about capital outlay funding being spent on technology.
There’s about one point two million in the budget this year and next year for that purpose.
Iredell County is also withholding six-hundred thousand for later use.
Wike says no layoffs or other staffing changes will come from this week’s vote.
