Sheriff Darren Campbell stated the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office received a report of Embezzlement from a local business. Detective Sgt. D.R. Getz with the Economic Crimes Unit was assigned the case.

According to the incident reports the district manager for the company had come to audit the business. Mrs. Babbitt was arrested on February 25, 2017 and received a $12,000.00 secured bond and processed at the Iredell County Detention Center.
