Bodies of rescue diver, swimmer found in Lake Norman

The body of a diver who went missing during the search for a Lake Norman swimmer has been found along with the body of the original victim.

Sources identify the deceased diver and fire fighter as Bradley Long of Sherrills Ford Fire & Rescue.  Long was part of a search Monday to find a swimmer who had disappeared in the water near Charter Place Sunday afternoon.  Two other divers were injured during the search effort.

The initial call for help was received around 3:15 Sunday with search efforts continuing into the evening.  The search was suspended overnight and continued Monday morning.
