Community comes-thru with toy donations for Iredell Salvation Army

STATESVILLE, N.C. (WSIC NEWS) – You could say they loaded-up Santa’s sleigh in Statesville Thursday.

The Salvation Army was handing-out the gifts collected through its Angel Tree program. Despite serious concerns last week about donations not being returned, people came-thru with many of the items. The organization had to shop for about 200 kids.

Families were also being invited back Thursday night for a free meal from Grill for God. Watch the video below to see more from Thursday’s distribution:
