Completed Designs Showcase the Regional Center as a Spectacular Community Resource
Cornelius, NC, June 2, 2020 — Cain Center for the Arts unveiled its final design renderings on Tuesday, June 2 at noon. The release of designs for the theater and the gallery is the final in a series of releases of final renderings of the center. Other renderings, including those of the lobby, the outdoor campus, and classrooms have been released over the past three-weeks. All of the design renderings are now available on Cain Center’s YouTube channel. The building and campus are designed by two acclaimed architecture firms working in partnership on the project, C Design and Holzman Moss Bottino Architecture.
Now that the drawings are finalized, Cain Center will be working with the town to schedule the demolition of the existing buildings on the venue’s future site. When complete, Cain Center for the Arts will include a 400-seat theater, gallery space, event spaces, three classrooms, a community green space and an outdoor plaza. As the region’s only public arts and community center, it will offer performances, education experiences, and a place for community events and gatherings.
