The Mooresville coffee bean roaster is hoping to educate coffee drinkers on everything from how their coffee is made to the many different flavor profiles the drink offers.

(We’ve really spent alot of time on education, teaching people about where the coffee comes from, how its harvested, how the different coffee trees, all part of the arabica family, can change the flavors of the coffee and then how we as a roaster can customize that taste to provide an exclusive product to the Mooresville-Lake Norman area  ). That’s Black powder roaster Dave Stahlman.

Stahlman says a homegrown passion for coffee bloomed from international travel which led to the creation of the roastery.  Black Powder is open Fridays and Saturdays at Lakeside Business Park.
