Inspiring lifelong learning: Crosby Scholars joining “Why Should I Care?” this Thursday

“If only I had known”….I often hear those words said when someone finds out about an event or an opportunity that they missed being a part of.  My sincere hope is that the “Why Should I Care?” radio show will help to minimize the number of times I hear that and increase the number of times I hear, “I am so glad I heard about…… or, I am so excited to be a part of……”.

The purpose of my show is to inspire, enlighten, and enable each listener to reach-out and join the helping!  Such a feeling of joy comes from being a part of the greater good! I believe in our community and feel strongly that, when given an opportunity, we will come together and make things happen and ENJOY the the opportunity! Yes, fun and enjoyment can go hand in hand with helping make a difference!!

Let’s talk more about learning this Thursday at 8:00 a.m. with:

Crosby Scholars. For College. For Life.

I am curious to find out what the slogan means and why it has the wording “5 Years” included in the logo.   The word Scholar has my interest too.  Does that mean this is a program for just certain students?  What grade does the student have to be in to become a scholar and why would a student want to be a Crosby Scholar?  How is this program beneficial for parents?  What opportunities are there for students?  Answers to these and more questions will be discussed Thursday!
With scholarly ambition, at any age, we can learn useful information to energize us to be an active part of our community.
I look forward to having you join me Thursday, August 1 at 8 a.m.!
