Fleming begins her new role as Chief after an already lengthy tenure at Troutman Police Department. She has worked for the Department forthe past 16-years as a part-time Patrol Officer.

Fleming started her law enforcement career with Wilkesboro Police Department before moving up through the ranks in the Mooresville Police Department ultimately reaching the rank of Lieutenant. Additionally, she worked for the Forensic Tests for Alcohol Branch at the Department of Health and Human Services. Fleming has her B.S. in Criminal Justice from Gardner-Webb and her A.A.S. in Law Enforcement Technology from Forsyth Technical Community College.
