Iredell deputies looking for missing 12-year-old

PRESS RELEASE

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: A report was received on Sunday, January 5, 2020 in regards to a runaway juvenile. A family member of the juvenile reported seeing the juvenile leave the residence on Sonja Drive and get into a dark in color, older model sedan operated by an unknown black male around 12:00 am.

The juvenile was last believed to be in the area of Douglas Street in Statesville but may also be in the Park Drive area as well.

The juvenile has been entered into the national database as well as reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Description: White female approximately 5 foot 6 inches tall. 100 pounds. Brown hair, usually in a top bun. Brown eyes. Post earrings in the lobes and upper cartilage of both ears. No tattoos.
