Iredell-Statesville Schools invites community to participate in legislative breakfast online

PRESS RELEASE

The Iredell-Statesville Schools Legislative Breakfast has been reformatted this year, and includes a small group of invitation only individuals in an effort to promote and encourage productive dialogue between elected officials and educators in the I-SS. Superintendent Brady Johnson stated, “We are excited about the new format, having only invited about 35 elected officials, a few members of the Career and Technical Education Advisory Board, and educators to the table. We are hopeful that the intimate round table discussion will allow the group to speak candidly and work collaboratively to find solutions to issues that hinder the success of students in Iredell County.”

“We welcome all our stakeholders to watch this open meeting online. The breakfast roundtable live stream will be linked to the district facebook page or can be found on the Iredell-Statesville Schools YouTube channel. The live stream will begin tomorrow morning at 7:45am.
