Yadkinville man accused of sexually abusing minor over 4-year-period

The Yadkinville Police Department has arrested Bobby Lee Davis, white male, age 39, of Hemlock St. in Yadkinville with 43 counts of sex offenses with a minor. Detectives allege that Davis committed the offenses over a four year period with a minor who lived in the home. Davis was taken into custody on April 4th, 2018 while the investigation continued.

Davis was charged with the following offenses:

1 Count Felony Statutory Rape of a Child by an Adult

4 Counts Felony First Degree Forcible Sex Offense

4 Count Felony Rape of a Child

4 Count Felony Sex Offense in Parental Role

4 Counts Crime Against Nature

6 Counts Felony Statutory Sex Offense with a Child by an Adult

9 Counts Felony Sexual Act by a Substitute Parent/Guardian

11 Count Felony First Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor

Davis was placed under secured bonds totaling $750,000.00 on April 9th, 2018 pending his next court appearance on April 11th, 2018. Police continue their investigation and additional charges are expected.
