Two accused of stealing CBD oil in Lincoln County

PRESS RELEASE

Lincolnton, NC – One of two people charged in the November 12, 2019 break-in at Alternative Health on North Highway 16 Business in Denver, NC has been arrested.

Catawba County deputies picked up Roy Lee Blue, Jr., 31, of 1781 Rollins Drive, Catawba, NC on December 12, 2019 and turned him over to Lincoln County deputies.

Blue, along with Londie Allan Woods, 51, of 1791 Rollins Drive, Catawba, NC, are charged with the break-in where approximately $8,400 worth of CDB Hemp was stolen.

On November 12, 2019 deputies were dispatched to Alternative Health at 4359 N NC 16 Business Hwy where a burglar alarm involving glass breakage was reported. When officers arrived they discovered a broken glass door and12 mason jars containing two ounces each of various brands of CBD oil had been stolen.

Detective Jacob Lail continued the investigation and information learned during that investigation led to the two suspects. Blue and Woods are charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods. Blue is out of jail on a $6,000 secured bond while officers are still looking for Woods.
