Two accused of intimidating a witness in Davidson human trafficking case

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Davidson Police began an aggravated assault investigation on July 26, 2018. The incident involved the same suspects recently arrested by Davidson Police for human trafficking at their business, Luxury Nail Salon, located at 610 Jetton Street, Suite 240. The new investigation of a reported assault by Thuy Tien Luong, a 34-year-old Asian woman and Nip Tsi, a 35-year-old Asian male, allegedly occurred at the Luxury Nail Salon in Davidson on Thursday evening, July 26.

The victim, a 57-year-old Asian woman, is related to suspect Thuy Tien Luong. The injuries suffered were serious and consistent with injuries suffered by the victim in the human trafficking case. Warrants were obtained and served on August 8 at approximately 11:00 a.m. The suspects were cooperative and transported to the Mecklenburg County Jail.

Both suspects were charged with the following offenses:

  • Aggravated Assault
  • Felony Conspiracy
  • Intimidating a Witness
