Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Sunday July 29, 2018 deputies with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to 521 Central Drive in reference to a breaking and entering in progress.
Prior to the deputies arriving, Iredell County Emergency Communications advised the deputies, suspects had entered the home through a bedroom window. Before the deputies arrived, three subjects left the residence walking on foot.
Lieutenant D. Summers and Deputy C. Kerley located three individuals matching the suspect’s description at the intersection of Central Drive and Greencrest Lane. Deputy C. Little then responded to the residence and spoke with the victim.
After further investigation, Deputy Little learned the suspects entered the residence through a window and moved items inside of the residence. The three individuals who had been detained, due to matching the suspect description, were identified by the victim as being the ones who had entered the home.
Deputy Little arrested Payton Lynn Dalton, Alexander O’Neill Trapp, and Kaleb Haron Ty’rice Simpson and transported them to the Iredell County Detention Center. All three subjects were charged with one count of Felony Breaking and or Entering. Magistrate P. Tutterrow gave each suspect a 1,000.00 dollar secured bond.
