SPD conducts an operation sweep for several drug complaints


On Friday, November 1, 2019 the Statesville Police Department conducted an operation with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office, Mooresville Police Department, State Bureau of Investigations and the Department of Probation and Parole. We have received several drugs complaints from citizens in the community. The Statesville Police Department started an investigation which lead to the identification of several individuals leading up to the operation. Warrants were obtained for the individuals below and others were arrested on scene. Statesville Police Department obtained search warrants for residences located at 1118 5th Street, 1127 5th Street and 1134 5th Street, Statesville, North Carolina. Chief David Addison said, ‘Our working relationships are vital to serving the citizens of Statesville and Iredell County. Sheriff Campbell is committed to working with our agency to reducing crime in our community. Chief Campurciani’s assistance from the Mooresville Police Department was crucial in allowing the simultaneous execution of three search warrants. We appreciated all agencies who assisted us. We will continue this partnership in resolving crime!’
