Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Wednesday April 11, 2018 Deputy Caskaddon was patrolling in the area of Branchwood Road in Northern Iredell County, when he noticed a suspicious vehicle parked on the side of the roadway.
As Deputy Caskaddon approached the vehicle to speak with the occupant, he saw an open container of alcohol in the driver’s area. Deputy Caskaddon asked the driver, Webb Massey King, to step out of the vehicle.
A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered several items consistent with the manufacturing of methamphetamine to include, pseudoephedrine, magnesium sulfate and cold packs were found in the vehicle along with an amount of actual methamphetamine and several items of drug paraphernalia/
Webb Massey King was taken into custody and charged with the following charges; Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine, Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine Precursors, Felony Possession of Pseudoephedrine after Conviction of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Felony Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling to Sell Controlled Substance, and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Webb Massey King was given a 75,000.00 secured bond by Magistrate J. Hollar.
