Mooresville PD releases photos, details in Monday bank robbery

  

PRESS RELEASE

MOORESVILLE, NC: At approximately 2:20 pm on Monday, May 6, a robbery was reported at First Citizens Bank, 241 Medical Park Road. Mooresville and Huntersville officers responded. Employees of the business stated a male entered the business and passed a note to a bank representative demanding cash money. A weapon was not displayed. The suspect left with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing camo green pants, red hoodie and oversized sunglasses. He has a very slim build, and approximately 5’8” or 5’9” feet in height. The suspect left on foot headed towards the Dairy Queen.

Suspect got into the passenger side of an aqua green/blue in color passenger vehicle (possibly an older model Toyota Avalon) and was last seen traveling on Fairview Road towards Hwy 115. The vehicle was driven by another individual. The vehicle has damage on the right front quarter panel, five-star rims, and a temporary SC dealership tag.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the suspect or vehicle is asked to contact Detective Crow with the Mooresville Police Department at 704-664-3311.
