Man accused of trafficking heroin in southern Iredell, north Mecklenburg

PRESS RELEASE

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Mooresville Police Department, with assistance from the Cornelius Police Department, conducted an investigation into Marcus Lamone Black selling cocaine in northern Mecklenburg and southern Iredell counties.

On January 10, Mooresville Police Department charged Black, 40, with two counts of Trafficking Cocaine, Possession with the Intent to Sell and/or Deliver Cocaine, Felony Maintaining a Vehicle for Controlled Substances, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Black was detained in the Iredell County Detention Center under a $250,000 secured bond.
