Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce to recognize first responders

(Huntersville, NC – October 9, 2017) The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce will salute the men and women who work tirelessly to protect and serve the families and businesses of the Lake Norman region at a Public Safety Luncheon to be held at NorthStone Country Club (15901 Northstone Drive) in Huntersville. The twelfth annual event will be emceed by Chamber president Bill Russell on Thursday, October 19th at 11:45. The event is open to the public but an RSVP is required by visiting or calling 704-892-1922. Cost is $20 per person.

The Chamber will recognize the critical role the police, fire and first responders play in making the Lake Norman community a great place to live, work, and visit.

The awards program is presented by Wells Fargo Bank and sponsored by Lake Norman Publications, Central Piedmont Community College, WSIC 100.7 FM, and the North Mecklenburg Crime Stoppers.

In addition to the Public Safety Officers, Crime Stopper Board Chair Tommy Davis will present the North Mecklenburg Crime Stopper of the Year.
