Huntersville PD arrests man accused of threatening school shooting

On February 16, 2018, the Huntersville Police Department responded to a call of a man who was threatening to carry out a school shooting. The Huntersville Police Department takes all threats toward our citizens seriously and initiated an investigation. Officers interviewed Michael Wallace Buck regarding the alleged threats and following the interview, officers obtained warrants for Mr. Buck’s arrest.

On March 8, 2018, Michael Wallace Buck (W/M DOB 02/09/1991) was charged with Making a False Report Concerning Mass Violence at an Educational Facility. He is currently in the Mecklenburg County Jail with a $1,000,000.00 bond.
