Detectives searching for stolen tractor trailer

PRESS RELEASE

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Sunday May 19, 2019, Deputies with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 7 Eleven Convenience located at 849 Turnersburg Highway, in reference to a larceny of a trailer.

The victim in this matter said he parked the trailer near the diesel pumps at the gas station, disconnected the trailer, and left at 12:30 pm on Saturday May 18, 2019. The victim then returned on May 19 to discover the trailer was stolen. The victim described the trailer as a 53 foot utility trailer white in color with a “Thermos King” refrigeration unit on it along with the numbers 3220 painted on the top of the trailer

Detectives were able to get video from the 7 Eleven. At 3:13 am on May 19, a red or orange in color Semi-truck with an unidentified emblem pulled into the parking lot, hooked up to the trailer, and left the scene.
