Deputies: High Point man leads HP on short chase, drugs found inside vehicle

PRESS RELEASE

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Thursday, November 21, 2019, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office was called to assist the North Carolina Highway Patrol after, Trooper B. Campbell had stopped a Toyota Corolla on Interstate 77 South near mile marker 45 after a short chase.

Deputy C. Little responded assist. The suspect, Titto Tyson Sabb was in custody. A search of his vehicle conducted by Deputy Little located nine grams of heroin.

Titto Tyson Sabb was taken to the Iredell County Detention Center. Deputy Little charged Sabb with Felony Trafficking of Heroin, Felony Possession with intent to Sale and Deliver a Controlled Substance, Felony Maintain a Vehicle for the Sale of a Controlled Substance, and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Sabb appeared before Magistrate S. Watkins who issued Sabb a 500,000.00 secured bond. Trooper Campbell obtained additional charges stemming from the chase.
