Death of two men in Mooresville being treated as overdose case


MOORESVILLE, NC (WSIC) – The death investigation for two men found inside a Mooresville residence last week is being treated as an overdose case.

Foul play is not suspected in the deaths of Andrew J. Owens, a 34 year-old Cornelius resident, and Andrew Carter, a 34 year-old Mooresville resident.

Emergency personnel were called to the Devon Forrest Drive residence where the two men were found unresponsive shortly after 12 p.m. Wednesday, April 17. Both individuals were pronounced dead on-scene.

The investigation continues.
