Cleveland woman accused of shooting at husband

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a domestic dispute at 138 Strawberry Hill Lane in eastern Iredell County Sunday night at approximately 9:30 pm. A male subject at the residence called 911 and stated his wife was shooting a gun at him. The male caller told 911 Telecommunications, he was hiding outside behind the residence and the wife was still inside the house. Deputies responded emergency traffic and arrived on scene. Deputies were able to locate the male outside and get him to a safe location. Deputies learned from the man’s wife had a handgun and had fired it at him after a heated argument. Deputies surrounded the residence and attempted to contact the female inside the home. After several attempts, deputies were finally able to make contact with the female. The female eventually surrendered after nearly 2 hours and was taken into custody with no further incident. Detectives and Crime Scene Units responded to the scene to assist with interviews and process the scene for evidence.

The suspect, Patricia Good Sauve of 138 Strawberry Hill Lane, Cleveland was arrested and charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill and Discharging a Weapon into an Occupied Dwelling. Due to the charges being from a Domestic Violence situation, Patricia Sauve was held in the Iredell County Detention Center with no bond.
