Assault by stapler? Deputies say customer threw one at Rowan store clerk

PRESS RELEASE

On Friday August 2nd at about 1:15PM a female customer entered the Rushco Store, on Long Ferry Road, near I-85, and became upset with the store clerk over a fuel purchase. The white female suspect assaulted the store clerk by throwing a stapler at the clerk. The suspect left in a blue colored Honda before deputies arrived. The stores security video captured the assault and the suspect. An image from the security video of the suspect is attached.
