911 hangup call ends with drug charges

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Thursday February 15, 2018 at 5:50 pm a 911hang up call came into the Iredell County Emergency Communication Center.

Deputies were dispatched to the residence, when they arrived they determined a domestic dispute was taking place. After separating the arguing parties, the deputies gained consent to search the room where the parties were sleeping. While doing so they located several items of drug paraphernalia and an amount of heroin.

At this point in the investigation, the suspect, Paige O’Neill became very belligerent cursing and yelling outside disturbing the neighbors, she was arrested for disorderly conduct. While being searched incident to arrest the deputies located other drug paraphernalia items including a small container with methamphetamine and ecstasy pill O’Neill’s socks.

Paige Elizabeth O’Neill was transported to the Iredell County Detention Center. Magistrate P. Tutterrow found probable cause for the charges of; Felony Possession Methamphetamine, Felony Possession Heroin, Felony Possession Ecstasy, Possession Drug Paraphernalia, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting an Officer. O’Neill was placed under a $10,000.00 dollar secured bond
