HUNTERSVILLE, NC (WSIC) – The Huntersville Police Department is welcoming K-9 Gunner to its ranks.
Officer Daniel Johnson was recently promoted to the K-9 handler’s position and completed external training with his new partner. According to the police department, Gunner is a dual purpose dog who is trained in narcotics and trailing. He’s a German Shorthaired Pointer.
Following its online style, the Huntersville Police Department welcomed Gunner with a Twitter post featuring a number of fun hashtags such as #RuffAssignment and #FeelinCute_MightLickYourFaceLater_IDK.
