Huntersville PD investigating drive-thru armed robbery

PRESS RELEASE

On Saturday December 14, 2019 at approximately 2:40 AM officers with the Huntersville Police Department responded to McDonalds located at 14220 Boren Street, Huntersville, NC in reference to an armed robbery. The suspect fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival and no injuries were reported. A firearm was brandished during this robbery.

The Huntersville Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for this robbery. Suspect 1 is described as a black male wearing a white in color hooded sweatshirt with black “AERO” lettering and unknown pants. Suspect 2 is not seen, but is observed driving a red in color older model, 4-door Ford Explorer. Photographs of the suspect and suspect vehicle are below.
