Greensboro teens charged in Mooresville robbery investigations

MOORESVILLE, NC – After a multi-jurisdictional investigation, arrests have been made in connection with two armed robberies at a local pharmacy earlier this year.

Kalil Barrino, 18, and Christian Sarpy, 19, both of Greensboro, were identified with the assistance of the Greensboro Police Department as suspects in robberies at the CVS Pharmacy, 559 River Highway, on May 16 and June 24.

Also, Barrino and Sarpy were connected with multiple robberies across the state from April 20 to July 23. The pair was taken into custody on July 27 and were still incarcerated when Mooresville police issued their warrants on October 29.

Both Barrino and Sarpy have been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, felony larceny, assault by pointing a gun, second degree kidnapping, and conspiracy to commit robbery.
