Four injured in Huntersville I-77 crash

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (WSIC NEWS) – Four people were injured in a Huntersville crash on I-77 Friday morning.

Trooper Clark with the North Carolina Highway Patrol tells WSIC the driver of a pick-up truck involved in the crash was taken to CMC in Charlotte with serious injuries. He’s still trying to piece together exactly what happened, but says one witness reported seeing the truck rollover several times during the crash.

A family of three was inside a passenger car involved in the crash and was taken to CMC Huntersville with minor injuries.

The crash happened around 7:40 Friday morning just north of the Hambright Road bridge.
