Cornelius Mayor Washam hosts a virtual coffee chat to talk COVID-19


CORNELIUS, NC – The Town of Cornelius will hold a special ‘Connecting Cornelius: Coffee Chat’ on Monday, April 6 at 8:30 a.m.

Mayor Washam will host the meeting virtually using Zoom, and will discuss the impact of COVID-19 locally and across the state with a panel of federal and state elected officials, including U.S. Senator Thom Tillis, State Senator Natasha Marcus, and State Representative Christy Clark.

We will also hear from Mecklenburg County Manager Dena Diorio and Cornelius Town Manager Andrew Grant on how the County and Town are responding to the crisis.

The meeting will conclude with a virtual Q&A session. Cornelius citizens and business owners are invited to attend and ask their questions. All are encouraged to RSVP.
