CORNELIUS, NC (WSIC) – Christmas in Cornelius: it’s the quintessential, small-town, Christmas street fair.
While items sold by vendors Sunday were not exclusively handmade, it was certainly a theme. Christy Acevedo is the founder of Zavia Handmade – a returning vendor who loves the sense of community.
Shoppers could take their pick from hand-stitched toys, fine woodwork, jewelry, crafts and, of course, food. Heath Lowe mans the kettle for Poppin Hot Kettle Corn. Like most we talked with, he appreciates the community spirit.
Whether downing Heath’s fresh-popped kettle corn, shopping for friends and family or just enjoying Christmas as a community – Sunday’s Christmas in Cornelius at Oak Street Mill delivered.
