Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office delivering toys to local kids for Christmas

PRESS RELEASE

Lincolnton, NC – Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies have begun delivery of Toys for Tots to needy families in the county.

First Sgt. Richard Calhoun started the campaign in November to identify those families that would need assistance this Christmas to provide toys for their children. As of the deadline, November 22, 2019, Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies identified 119 children to supply the toys to this year which will help Toys for Tots to reach 1,200 children throughout the county this year.

Deputies will be delivering the toys for the next 10 days in each of the four districts. Thanks to everyone for your help in this important outreach.
