the Cornelius Police Department is hosting a community document shredding event
in the parking lot of the Cornelius Town Hall.
Cornelius residents and business owners are invited to bring up to four file-sized boxes filled with documents such as old tax and financial statements, cancelled checks, business records, and the like. And don’t bother with removing staples or paper and binder clips from your files – these high-powered shredders can handle them!
We encourage you to arrive early with your boxes, as the event may end earlier than planned
due to truck capacity, equipment malfunctions, bad weather or other unforeseen events.
