Deputies looking for missing Iredell teen

PRESS RELEASE

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Thursday May 2, 2019, Lesley Chevez contacted the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office to report her daughter Lizzy Chevez missing.

Lesley Chevez stated her daughter had left with her boyfriend Christian AKA “Tony” on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 around 8:00 pm. When Lizzy did not return home, Lesley filed a runaway juvenile report. Deputies filed the report and gathered information from the juvenile’s mother. She indicated Christian, the boyfriend, lives in the Charlotte area.

Lizzy was last seen wearing a blue skirt, a pink shirt, Flip-Flops and a brown purse. Lizzy is 17 years old, 5 foot 1 inch tall, weighs approximately 135 pound. She has with long black hair and brown eyes. If anyone has any information on the location of Lizzy Chevez they are asked to contact the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office at 704-878-3100.
