Closed home sales rose 20 percent in Statesville during the month of May when compared with the same time last year.
That’s according to data from the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association which shows there were 90 closed sales last month compared to 75 in 2017. The median price was up about 6 percent at $156,000. Inventory of homes for sale is down 23 percent.
Closed sales were up 10 percent in Huntersville and more than 7 percent in Davidson. Lake Norman sales dipped less than 1 percent, but median price was up nearly 10 percent at $413,750.
