Statesville, NC – An Iredell-Statesville employee has been suspended with pay after receiving a traffic violation yesterday from the NC Highway Patrol. She was given a ticket for Careless and Reckless Driving along with Left of Center charges. There were high school students on the bus from our three Early College locations. Students on the bus were from the Collaborative College Technology and Leadership (CCTL), Crossroads Arts and Science Early College, and the Agriculture Science Early College (ASEC). The employee has been a bus driver for the Iredell-Statesville Schools for three years, and has driven a school bus in other school districts in North Carolina for over 30 years.

The employee has been suspended with pay pending an investigation.
