Owner of First Flight Bicycles killed in Mooresville accident

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Just after 7 p.m., Mooresville Police responded to a call of a pedestrian struck while crossing Williamson Road. Upon arrival, members of Mooresville Police and Mooresville Fire-Rescue located Jeffrey Patrick Archer, 52, of Troutman, in the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Claydon Laural Turner, 30, of Hickory has been charged with felony death by motor vehicle and DWI.

The incident is under investigation by Mooresville Police Department.
