Mooresville woman found dead at shopping center

PRESS RELEASE

MOORESVILLE, NC: At 8:57 a.m., Mooresville Police received a call for an unconscious subject in a vehicle at Brawley Commons Shopping Center, 655-100 Brawley School Road. Alexandria Leigh McNeely, 23, of Mooresville was pronounced dead at the scene.

McNeely was transported to NC Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem where an autopsy will be performed on Monday, December 4. Investigators will be waiting for autopsy findings to determine the cause of death. McNeely’s family has been notified.
