Missing Mooresville man found dead

PRESS RELEASE

Personnel from Mooresville Police, Mooresville Fire-Rescue, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police and other area public safety agencies have concluded the search for the missing Mooresville resident, Michael Scott Bell. The outcome is not what we hoped but we thank all who assisted in the search or shared their concern for the responders and the Bell family. The investigation into the cause of his death is continuing.

PRESS RELEASE

MOORESVILLE, NC: Mooresville Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing white male believed to be in the Mooresville area. Michael Scott Bell, 40, of Mooresville last made contact with his family around 5 p.m., Wednesday, April 19. He is believed to be risk due to recent health issues. Bell was last seen wearing a polo type shirt and khaki pants.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts, please call the Mooresville Police Department at 704-664-3311.
