Lincoln County man dead after being pinned underneath truck he was working on

Lincolnton, NC – A Crouse Man died this afternoon when a truck he was working on fell on him.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies, Lincoln County EMS and the Crouse Fire Department were dispatched to the call around 1:26 p.m. when the victim’s wife came home, found him pinned underneath the truck and called 911.

Michael Queen, 50, of 1863 George Brown Road, Crouse, NC had the truck up on jack stands while he was working on the vehicle and it apparently fell on him. Mr. Queen was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident was ruled accidental.
